Pre-Gather 6:00 - 6:15pm in Atrium and Hallway

Key Steps:

  1. Setup NameTags
  2. Get bibles boxes to atrium and on tables
  3. Pray with team
  4. Music in Atrium
  5. Setup activity as they enter: Hunger Banquet: each small group will sit at their own table(s). 1 person at the table will get 2 slices of pizza, 2 people will get a bag of chips, the rest will get some saltines


Gather 6:15-7:15(Atrium)

Key Steps

  1. 2 people at doors to greet
  2. Spoons at tables in atrium
  3. Hunger Banquet begins
  4. Small Group Discussion(make sure they each have bible and follow along)
    1. How did you feel about those assigned to countries different from yours?
    2. How did you feel when you realized which country you had been assigned?
    3. Matthew 25: 31-46
      1. How does your life affect those who are hunger in the world? Think of all the connections
      2. Would Jesus say to you that you have fed and clothed the least?
      3. What other ways can people be hungry?

Proclaim 7:15-7:30(Student Center)

  1. Recap:
    1. What is a Sacrament: Outward sign of inward grace
      1. What are they?
    2. Sacrament of Reconciliation?
      1. Restoring friendly relations with God & showing your sorrow. I know what is right, I know what God wants...I don't care
    3. Sacrament of Baptism? 
      1. Through Baptism we receive freedom from sin, become an adopted child of God, are called to serve the Church, and are given the mission to help make disciples for Jesus Christ.
  2. Sacrament of Confirmation
    1. The Sacrament of Confirmation is the second of the Sacraments of Initiation. It perfects the grace we received at baptism and gives us grace to live the missionary mandate of the Church. 
    2. The missionary mandate was given to the Church by Jesus Christ when he commanded the apostles to make disciples of all nations and a baptize them. The mission of the Church is salvation. 
    3. After a person is confirmed, he or she has a responsibility to live the mission of the Church, continue to grow in his or her faith, and draw more deeply into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
