Welcome to the Family.

Ryan Eberly.JPG
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word.

How do I schedule a baptism?

Preparation for Baptism will be made available to parents as they request it, preferably before the birth of their child.  Contact the parish office to schedule a baptism.  The parent(s) will be introduced to the many ways their family can be engaged with the community at Saint John XXIII.

Baptism Retreat

We ask that all first time parents, or parents who are having their first child baptized at Saint John XXIII, attend our “New Parent” Retreat.
