We Never Stop Learning.

From the beginning of our parish in 2005, Saint John XXIII has been committed to providing opportunities for parishioners of all ages to grow in their faith.

Belonging Retreat & Baptism

Our journey of initiation begins with parental preparation for Baptism. At Saint John XXIII this includes a Parent Retreat. We ask that all first time parents, or parents who are having their first child baptized at Saint John XXIII, attend our Belonging Retreat.

Preschool and Kindergarten

Preschool and Kindergarten

Seeds Sunday Preschool and Promise Kindergarten are offered on Sunday mornings during Mass. These interactive and hands on programs allow children to learn about the Sunday scripture readings on their own levels through music, art and crafts.

First Grade

First Grade

Parents should begin their children's formal faith formation in First Grade.  Family DiscipleGroups helps families to practice together their faith at home. During Mass, children are encouraged to attend Children's Liturgy of the Word.

First Communion Preparation & Family DiscipleGroups

Our second graders continue their faith formation by participation in Family DiscipleGroups. We begin additional preparation for First Communion by participating in "coaching" sessions, parent meetings with Father Herb, a retreat, and the First Communion interview where the children receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.

Fourth grade students participate in our Family DiscipleGroups.

Family DiscipleGroups are a time that kids and parents learn the basics of Catholicism so they can grow in their faith and build on the foundation that has been created by their family in the home.

High School Ministry

In our High School Ministry, we seek to keep building maturity in our students and help them grow in deeper relationships with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, the Lord.

HSM meets weekly on Sunday nights during the school year and at other times during the summer months. Annual retreats, mission trips and conferences are also an exciting part of the program. We encourage parents to promote participation at HSM as a means to continue faith development in the teen years.
